hey everyone,

I am a total noob when it comes to routers so please help me.

I want to buy a router that can allow people to access the internet while i'm playing online games without my ping flying through the roof, I guess i need one with QoS?.

Also I would prefer it to have AC wireless capabilities because I might buy an Nvidia Shield and wanna try game stream which is best on AC wireless as I understant.

And of course I need decent range on the wi-fi signal. Can I find this for around 150$???

what brands and models..

your help is appreciated.

thx

Loss of Ping is from your crappy ISP speeds, not from a router, but if you want a nice router then try asus or netgear

I don't think so. The ping gets higher because someone is using the internet otherwise it's pretty low. the problem is the router doesn't give priority to my game (which doesn't take much bandwidth) so I just need a router that would give priority to my applications..

thanks for your answer though :)

Oh.

I think all routers (Routers over £10 anyway) have options for QoS

Hey.
