3080 Ti - Low benchmark performance on fresh windows installation

Crazy Snoopy

Hello,

So i have this really odd behaviour where my EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 is scoring abnormal low benchmark scores on my m.2 Windows 10 installation. The boot drive SSD is a Samsung 980 Pro and i tried already everything, DDU with fresh driver installation, i even reinstalled Win 10 and only installed all the drivers and Steam and the issue is still occurring.

However i still have an old Win 10 on a Samsung 870 QVO where the GPU is scoring just as one would expect (I installed the latest driver on there to take that out of the equation.)

Here's the Port Royal score from the 980 Pro (11395): https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/67680947

Here's the Port Royal score from the 870 QVO(13456): https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/67668245

This behaviour is not limited to only Port Royal, it's appearing in all the other benchmarks as well.

The GPU wasn't thermal throttling or running slower on the 980 run and G-Sync was also disabled.

Rest of the system specs:
AMD 5900X non OC

32GB RAM 3600Mhz CL16

Asus Dark Hero MoBo

Does anyone have an idea what the issue might be?

I only have the Demo. My Time Spy score is 18239.
I have the same CPU and a MSI 3080ti Gaming X Trio.
hope that info helps a bit.

That is strange.

What does GPUZ say about the bus interface?

I think Time Spy is a good idea as well.
