Is this IO shield rusting? GPU was bought in Mid 2020 and has seen 2 monsoons.

Ports and PCB seems fine to me.

Only the IO shield and the screw surface is rusting.

Also the rust can be seen only with a Mobile phone torchlight(dual tone) and not with a normal regular torchlight (white)

Yeah, its just normal tarnish, I wouldnt worryy about it

So it aint that reddist rust. Phew..

only warmish light makes this visible. Normal white 6500k lights make it look like white spots.

as long as the PCB looks fine i wouldn't worry about it. I have a GTX 750ti with the same issue, seems to be a thing on certain GPU's.

I am actually worried about the warranty. Performance seems fine or unaffected.

 

Since Zotac's warranty is kind of strict here in my country.
