Sorry I was not very familiar with the terms but yes the closed pack headphones are what I am looking for. Do you know of any that would work well for gaming and come with a semi-decent mic built in?

You'll want MH751/752's. Whatevers in stock

I'm new here so I hope that i included all of the important information needed to help me out. I'm looking for a headphone and microphone combo. The two things that are most important is good directional sound system and noise canceling. I currently have the Hunter Spider V4 gaming headset which has decent sound and a good mic, but everything that plays through them is very easy to hear by those around me. Even on low volume you can easily makeout everything that is being played without having them on. I don't care at all if they are "gaming headphones" or if they have lights, I just want a good set of headphones for playing games and listening to music. I also prefer for them to be wired but thats not super important.

Any reason you're needing a headset rather than a good pair of headphones and a microphone?

Also whats the budget?

Realistically you don't want a gaming headset if you want something to listen to music with. Even high end ones are rather meh when it comes to music.

Budget helps. Personally I'd recommend just picking up a cheaper (possibly wireless to avoid wires) headset for gaming, and then a decent pair of headphones for listening to music.

I don't have a whole lot of deskspace to work with so I prefer the headset istead of trying to make room for an external mic. As for budget I would prefer to spend under 100 dollars but if there is a headset that looks really good and falls a little out of that range I wouldn't mind paying extra.

I'm not a huge audiophile when it comes to listening to music, I'm really just looking for a headset that offers good directional sound for videogames and better noise cancelation so that not everything I am listening to is identifiable by people across the room from me lol.

That's not noise cancelation. You want closed back headphones, not open.
