good desks

does anyone know of a good L shaped corner desk? i've had a pretty standard ikea desk thats able to hold my two monitors and all my other peripherals for 4 years but because i've recently upgraded to a pc i needed some more space. Preferably i'd like to not spend a ton just on a desk

At the moment i can't give an accurate size but, in terms of price, anything less than 200 is good ( the lower the better obvs ).

99% of the time it's better to get a hutch or a shelf to put stuff on (or at least a wall hook for headset/etc) rather than trying to cram everything on to a small desk.

Well, size is something you need to narrow down as there are literally hundreds of desk that are L shaped, and in the price range.  The narrowness is key.  Would this fit your stuff?  My son uses it for his PC and it works great, stable and clean.

<$200 is going to be shite quality, imho.  Price is one of the last things you should be evaluating by, imho.  You need to start by identifying what your needs are, and THEN evaluate from prices after you narrow down your choices to what you need.

 

And unless you want all particle board, <$200 is going to not last.

i can fit a 1.6m x 1.6m in my space ( going for the far left to the far end of the L ), i need to fit a 5000d airflow ( 520mm x 245mm x 520mm ) two 24 inch monitors and a standard keyboard and mouse

 

In terms of material, wood with metal frame would be nice and when it comes to colour, white or black would be good but to be honest im not too fussed

So what's stopping you from getting a tree to put both monitors on, and clearing up space on the desktop?  Far cheaper than a new desk.

main thing is my desk is old ( second hand from my sister ) and so it's rather rickety and unstable, it's able to hold monitors but i have a feeling it wont take much more. Other than that, it's just personal preference. I got this desk because i was new to gaming and needed something that would work but i've always like l shaped desks and always saw that as the next step up after a pc.
