You want a color scheme?

Not particularly. I might change the case to the Corsair 350D though and get the maximus gene Board

However i'm unsure if the H100i will fit. Also i'm not too much of a fan of the SP Series but they are better than the stock one's and you don't have a whole lot of options in au.

I will switch to the 350D, and the sad thing is that the evga power supplies are out of stock. Whats the difference between the green and the black harddrives

Do not get the AF120's unless you know that you are going to be getting a lot of noise along with them. I have two in my case and it sounds like I have 10 of them.

I noticed you had mentioned getting the Maximus VI Gene, and it is an excellent motherboard. It has all the USB one could need for an mATX enclosure, and as an owner of it, I'd vouch for it anyday :)

I agree with you there. One place PCPartpicker is lacking coverage is in the cooling department (air and liquid). The SP120's aren't that bad though, I have two of those running on my H100i and they aren't the problem (as far as noise goes). It is mainly the AF120's. (Honestly I'm going to replace them with the stock fans in a few days)

Without reading the suggestions,

you'll need a better PSU.

up until yesterday, i ran a TX650M with a AMD R290... PC would crash.

you may consider more ram for video editing

larger HDDs can be had for not much more.

1TB isnt the sweat spot in terms of $ per GB

CORSAIR HAS NO LOCAL PRESENCE HERE IN AUS

i have a Corsair H100 that failed about 8 months ago

they require shipping back to China (im guessing directly to asetek) which costs about $60 AUD

considering i bought it for $130 or so, im not so motivated to send it back

Get a seasonic PSU. Black drives are a bit faster but at the cost of noise. I've got one and can clearly hear it writing and reading in the case. Get the green as it's cheaper, quieter and runs cooler.
