MSI software CPU switch

This is in the MSI centre software.

 

I think the fan switch allows the software to control the fan?  so if i want to control the fan with the program, i turn it on right?

 

What about he CPU button?  I've checked and it doesn't control CPU fan.   instead the fan button will control CPU fan.

Do you have the fans connected to the correct headers on the motherboard?
