Hi guys.

I got myself used G635 in great condition but didn' come with any cable.

I have 2 micro USB-USB cables, one is thicker then the other.

So which one should I used, not to sacrifice the quality of the audio?

I suppose thicker is more secure.

I wish I could find here braided one,but you know Bosnia...screwed country.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Unless you're experiencing actual sound issues, digital audio is digital audio. Cable quality won't effect it (until it get really bad).

Kinda weird it didn't come with a cable

One thing you can do is open up control panel, go to sound, then select the headset. Go to the properties of the headset then click on the Advanced tab. There will be dropdown for default format. You can test each audio cable and see if it gives you different options (higher is better). 44100, 48000, and 192000 Hz are usually the standard options. You can mess with them and see if higher causes any clipping or other audio issues.

With all that being said, I am unsure what the actual sample rate for the G635 is. I would assume it maxes out at 48000Hz, but I could be wrong. For example, My Elgato Mic audio out has a max sample rate of 24 bit 48000, but my motherboard has a max sample rate of 32 bit 192 Khz. I run my amp and headphones at 24-bit 192Khz through my my MoBo because that sounds best to me.

Edit: but yea you might not see a difference at all.

You mean optical output?

I'm not sure if any gaming headset  comes with optical output cable.

In fact none that I know.

those usb cable carry digital audio, 1 & 0, so you either hear it or not at all (or in some cases glitch),

since you already have things that you want to try, why not just, well, try it you know , there is no harm in doing so

Yeah but one cable is thicker then the other, why is that?

I purchased 2 braided cables, much more easy to handle the headphones with braided cable....don't know does it matter if I plug the headphones to front panel USB port or back panel on MoBo?

It technically doesn't matter, though ofc if you experience any weird issue , try to change different usb port...
