How to delete chipset

Hello i recently asked what to do before changing my motherboard. The conclusion was to delete my old chipset. But how do i do that? Im running on a I9 10850k

What!?

The chipset is a set of chips on your motherboard. Hardware. You cant delete hardware... unless you physically destroy it.

You can reset your CMOS by removing the BIOS battery and turning off your power supply. This way the BIOS is set to default.
