4 Sabrent 2TB PCIE 4.0 at x4x4x4x4 in RAID 0

zbassman

Using a TRX40 MSI Creator with AMD 3060 with the m.2 4 nvme expander, i did set the bios to the proper slot for x4x4x4x4 but the RAID seems slow for 4 Sabrent Rocket in RAID 0... Any Tips?

Holy shit look at the IOPS😮

btw are you sure all drives-nvme expander all support gen 4?

did you set it to gen 4 in the bios?

I set up the raid 0 through Windows 10 pro, so I'm able to see all 4 drives, the expander came with the board, all nvme are gen 4 compatible and pcie 4 port is set in the BIOS. Looking at other way to set up the RAID 0, but the people posting don't have very good reviews other RAID apps.

This is with AMD RAID, that's about correct for the Writes, while the Reads seem relatively slow.

at those speeds you're probably slamming into bottlenecks everywhere else in your system.
