Hi all! So I’m currently about to start college and I need a laptop that can handle gaming, streaming, video and photo editing. My budget is around 2000 USD and I’m currently stuck between the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (RTX 3070) and the ASUS ROG Strix G15 (RTX 3060).

The key differences between these laptops is that the Legion Pro has 1440p display which I would appreciate very much, but the NVME is only 512GB and the RAM 16GB. I’ll mostly be connecting the laptop to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse while I’m stuck at home due to COVID, but having the 1440p screen when I’m working in class would be awesome. If the Legion Pro 5 is the better choice, I would also love to receive any suggestions for NVME and RAM upgrades to reach my desired 1+TB of storage and 32GB of RAM, thank you so much all!

I too was searching for a similar laptop and finally decided on the Asus Zephyrus G15 (RTX 3060). 1440p display (100%srgb), 165hz, 16gb ram (you'd prolly want to get the 32gb one), 1tb ssd. It's size (and battery life) makes it a perfect choice for college and still has great performance for gaming. However there is no webcam but you're prolly better off getting an external one if you want to stream.
