Build: Ryzen 5 5600x,  rog b550, lianli 240 mm Galahad aio, Asus ROG 750w gold rated psu, 1tb wd gen 3 nvme ssd

As of late, my CPU is overheating, and I thought it may have been new world buggyness, but it overheats to 95c at idle. A temporary fix I have been doing is jiggling the hoses and my temp drops to about 55c. What could be causing this, I mounted the aio on the top of the case but the hoses droop down due to the length. I'm going to remount with fresh thermal paste tomorrow but I feel like there may be blockage or air bubbles in the loop somehow. When I check the bios the pump rpm is around 3200 rpm so I'm at a loss....

Check if the protective sticker is still on the aio's heatsink and just as you said, make sure there's no blockage in the loop.

Could also be that the pump is malfunctioning and actually stuck or there is a bad connection. Maybe some air being stuck in the pump too.

Either way a wiggle of the tubes can get trapped air moving OR a blockage to clear for a bit.

I assume this is new? If so return it and claim warranty.
