Minecraft Issue

Hello I have got a 3090 and a ryzen 3950X and minecraft runs shit. In the main menu everything is laggy i dont know if its even 30 fps. And in the game it runs 200-300. Now I might not be an expert but ive seen people reach 700 fps casually with a 2080 and with my 1080 ti i was reaching even higher numbers. So please someone help me!

I dont think that will do anything because it works really good in other games. Its just in minecraft that it does that

Wouldn’t it have to not work in other games too for that to be the problem? Cause this only happens in minecraft in other games it works like a charm.

Turns out its capped at 60 fps in main menu. I still dont know why?

Right, but you said it's not making 30fps even? So this won't make any difference surely?

Yeah, thought it wasn’t even 30 fos but turns out its capped at 60 in the main menu. Also do you think 200 fps with shaders is ok? on a pc with a 3090?

Yea sounds great. There's not really anything you can gain from going higher.
