New build - no audio!

Just built my first PC - super exciting (see specs below). Everything seems to work apart from sound which only sort of works. The weird thing is it seems to work when I have headphones in but my monitor won't play sound even if I switch to the monitor output in the bottom left drop down box. I've already tried the following:

• Updating audio drivers using device manager
• Going to the MSi motherboard page, downloading and installing audio driver and restarting
• Fiddling around with troubleshooting and using different 
• Double checking I plugged the audio cable into the motherboard at both ends (I did)

Below is a screenshot of the devices I can troubleshoot. I have no idea why there are so many.

I'm pretty new to all of this so any help would be awesome. 

 

Specs:

Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 3060Ti, Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVME SSD, 16GB RAM, MSi MAG X570 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard, Corsair 750W power supply, LG 27GL850-B 144Hz monitor

Does it have speakers? (Doesnt look like it has speakers)
Is your monitors volume up?

 

Right click the speaker symbol at the right side of the task bar and open the sound settings.
Choose your monitor as output and put the volume up.

I'm an idiot. My new monitor doesn't have speakers! I thought all monitors had sound to be honest. Guess I'll have to get some external ones. Thanks for the help.
