Specs: Ryzen 7 3700x

AsRock Challenger Pro 6700xt

16gb of Adata XPG 3000mhz RAM

1TB WD SN550 M.2 SSD

Asus ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming MOBO

Corsair RM850x PSU (2018 model)

Nothing is overclocked.

Plays games just fine but every time I try to benchmark with Firestrike/Timespy/Superpostion/Heaven it almost immediately restarts. No BSOD, just black screen and then BAM back to the windows login screen. I originally thought it was the PSU so I replaced it with the one in my spec list but that didn’t solve the problem. Memory checked out just fine using memtest, so that’s not the problem. Temps are fine (max of 73 on CPU and 68 on GPU respectively) while under load. I’m really hoping it’s not a graphics card issue as getting a new one in this market is damn near impossible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it is a faulty GPU, you may have to wait a bit but most manufacturers keep stock of these cards for RMA purposes or give you priority for new ones coming in, so the wait shouldn't be outrageous.

You can try down clocking / undervolting the card, sounds like a bad overclock to me. And yes, most cards typically come overclocked from factory.

And I agree with the post above,  basically this is a defect.

Had exact same problem because the RAM...I had to replace it,simply because the board didn't like my Vengeance RGB Pro on 3600MHz.

It was crashing the PC each time in 3d firestrike when that creatures fight with swords.

I've installed 3200MHz and issue solved.

Though I can't remember if disabling XMP solved the issue with 3600MHz RAM.

I don't say you have same issue, but I would somehow get another RAM and test PC with it.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.
