You have two options: a discrete GPU from a scalper, or an APU. The first will probably get you the better gaming system

If you want to buy from a scalper get this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/c6YDGq

it leaves you with $200-300 for a GPU, so something in the GTX 1060 range. You will also probably want to add in a HDD, but that's not something that needs to be done immediately.

If you don't want to buy from a scalper, get this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3JjrdD

It's using an APU and has a better CPU in general, but graphics performance in general is better. Plus, you get a hard drive, a better CPU cooler, and probably a better motherboard. it's up to you which to pick.
