N560 gtx Ti Twin Frozr And power supply

I wanted to ask, I bought an n560gtx Ti Twin Frozr but I was wondering if i can run it with a 450Watt power supply and it doesn't have a 2 6 pin ports. I bought a 2 6 pin converter for as a substitute. i was gonna ask you, if I do connect it up, will it damage my power supply and if I can is it a good choice that will not inflict on the power supply's performance. would really like your views on this .

Did you buy a converter that uses a molex connector to 2 6-pin connectors?

If yes, then it will work, BUT at your own risk. The molex connector can overheat and get burned if too much power is drawn on the cable from PSU to GPU. The worst case is that it can damage your whole PC if it overheats. The best case it will work without any problem.

I've used it before too on a GTX 560 and it worked fine for years, but I didn't game that often and some games had lag spikes.
