small upgrade of an acer predator 3610

Go to solution Solved by YoungBlade,

In the future, put the specs of the RAM in your post. I didn't even realize you were asking about RAM until I searched the part numbers.

You'll want to have the RAM spaced, ABAB where A is the first type and B the second.

As for whether or not it'll work, it's hard to say without trying on that exact board. I upgraded a Lenovo pre-built from the Haswell era successfully with mixed RAM, so maybe

short question to this topic (i know its an old system - dont mind me upgrading my old rack, im not the best with tech)
https://www.game-debate.com/motherboard/index.php?mot_id=563&motherboard=Acer%20Predator%20G3610
has originally 2x ACR512X64D3U13C9G
got my hand on 2x CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 as addition.
tldr for questions:
-is this fine
-how to use slots?

Thanks for the help.
Thought the tags were self explaining.
But yeah I could have put the specs in instead of the numbers.
