CPU EZdebug led on MSI MB suggest that the board cannot detect CPU. That may be due to CPU not making proper contact with the socket on MB -or-聽 CPU is damaged and therefore cannot be detected -or- MB is damaged and therefore cannot detect CPU.

It may not be visible damage.

Just few weeks ago my B450 Mortar Titanium with R5 2600 died just like this. By trying out differnet boards and CPUs i found out that that both MB and borad have problem, problably something with memory controller / memory lanes. Had to buy r5 5600x and new board. YAY, upgrades.

My problem started when my PC booted on 2nd or 3rd try, every time. Then it didnt boot at all. It is not the same, but I would say colese enough.

2-3 hours and then it does what? turns of and then leds will light up? If that is the case, try checking your CPU cooling. Overheating maybe triggers temperature limit and CPU shuts down in order not to damage itself.

If you are going to start wapping components, make sure you can return them back to the store - for example, if you buy MB and later find out that original MB was OK and the CPU was bad.
