Hi,

my PC worked for more than two years, but today I couldn't get it to post. The fans spin and the RGB lights up.

The debug-LED on my motherboard tells me that there is no GPU detected. However the fans of the GPU spin and the "GeForce RTX"-text lights up.

I've tried using another PCIe-Slot, using a different PCIe-power cable and checked if the PSU provides power with a multimeter.

I also tested the GPU in the computer of a friend, where it worked perfectly. His GPU in my PC didn't work. So I'm pretty sure that the problem is not directly the GPU.

I've read that I should update or reinstall the drivers but I'm not sure how to do that, because I don't have onboard graphics and I can't get an output.

Does anybody have an idea what I could try next?

I just noticed that the monitor wakes up and says it gets a signal but is just showing a black screen. I see the same behavior with another monitor.

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X

Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti Founder's Edition

MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon

Windows 10 64-bit
