Yes! Evolve, the game made by former L4D peeps, just got available for pre-order. Or at least I saw it just now. I have been a supporter of the game and as soon as I can, I will pre-order. I wanted to ask, what are your thoughts on this game. Yay or nay?

I have to go to prison daily for 7 hours with the exception of Saturday and Sunday. (I don't like learning math skillz!)

I see a lot of crossover between the game and L4d, good or bad im not sure.

 

But i totally agree with XzisT, pre-orders are the worst idea for any game. Even ones that everyone is 100% sure it will be amazing. Now that everything is digital download there isnt a point in pre-orders or midnight launches, unless you want the "bonus" stuff. The only games i could really consider pre-ordering would be MMOs because you want to start on day 1, but only after you wait to see how their beta periods go.

 

I used to be all for getting both ESO and Wildstar, got into both betas and just went "meh". Glad i didnt order before that.

I always think that, but ive been burned so many times that i just cant trust devs anymore. Im ok with playing my backlog of games while waiting to see if the game turns out good. Id rather reward a company for doing a good job, rather than rewarding them for hopefully giving me something that i want.

I will most likely buy it after I start seeing more gameplay footage of it.

 

I'm sure the game will have plenty of people playing so I am not worried about servers being empty.

Not into pre-orders so no...But I with take two behind them I think it will be a very nice polished game.  I will probably buy it on release or once I know that Ill always get a game.  Personally I think it looks fucking awesome. Nice idea and from what i saw in game informer, it is getting executed well. Cant wait for release.

Everyone thinks it's a crappy game, I have 200+ hrs enjoying the hell out of it with my mates almost every night, and I'll probbably play it for at least another year...

I preordered trials fusion because it's a trial game, there is no way in hell they can fuck up that concept. That and I knew someone who had the beta, so i asked them if i could borrow their account and try it out and it turned out the beta was really fun.

there is obviously a chance of the game failing, but I have researched this game, and all of it leads to it being a great game. It doesn't mean I'm stupid think of it as a sequel to left 4 dead 2. I believed in Titanfall. Look what it became.
