i7 4770k OC help

Hello I am looking for a skype buddy that could help me get my rig properly overclocked I have read and watched and read more and cant get this CPU to go anywhere and when the oc fails it seems to kill my raid array (on my old mobo Asus maximus vi formula) Haven't tried on my new mobo yet so i was hoping some pro would be willing to get on skype with me sometime and we can go through it and teach me some tricks and stuff and generally help me out. I am no noob as i have overclocked many a cpu before just not on a rig this massive.

 

Oh and anyone know why my fans dont seem to work when connected to the ROG connect controller?

Not really experienced on Asus setup, but post the settings you are going with. Any 4770K should be able to be clocked to 4.0GHz (100MHz over Turbo Boost) and even to 4.2GHz. Volts should be 1.3V max, not worth going over it.

He can always open up skype on a phone or tablet or even another computer while working in the BIOS

It will be still hard unless the helper does same with same BIOS.
