Guys, I tried to open a new file in vegas and i hit the wrong "open" button and replaced the file instead of adding to it. Well, I forgot to save, and I can't find my autosave file in my local app data. Actually, its not autosaving anything there even though its the correct file path selected in vegas preferences. Well, the only real thing I need to do to the video is adjust the volume. Is there any way to do this without re-rendering the rendered video?

Right click on the containing folder and then click previous versions. Select the right one and you're good to go.

Windows saves copies of files that you write to.

Are you talking about the .veg file?

I don't think I ever remembered to save one for this particular project and I can't find the autosaves if that feature even worked. Basically all I have are the bits and pieces of video I used to make it and then the rendered final result.
