So my dads pc needs a little more horse power...

He got a pretty basic pc.

So i thought to upgrade some of his components.

 

Cpu: Intel Core 2 Cpu 6400 @2.13Ghz

Gpu: Asus Gts 250

Mobo: Gigabyte ga-31m-s2l (only got 2 slots ddr-2)

Cpu cooler: Standard cooler

Ram: 2Gb (dual channel)

Psu: Some shitty 230w psu

Case: a case donno wich one

Hdd: 150Gb

I thought about a new

Budget around €300-350

Wil be getting a extra 4 gb stick and a Msi R9 270 (non-x)

I would assume that the only changes required are in this particular order which may lead to entire system upgrade:

...I see you also included a link and it looks pretty fine. I'm going to say that you're holding off buying a graphics card which is a good thing.

Pretty good for casual websurfing & light gaming :)

What does he do on this PC? If he browses the web its fine if he games its less then fine.

He plays games like Sniper elite,Sniper ghost warrior u know those war games and such and also those borring facebook games

He does some doccumenting too.

But i use it too for some gaming too like playing MMo's with friends and such...

Just get a entirely new system and put in an i3 or i5 with a midrange card from nvidia like the 750.

Just grab a 750 Ti and see how that goes.
