computer BSOD on wake

so my mums friend at work asked if i could fix her laptop and she says that when she wakes it from sleep she gets a BSOD and on it says something like initialising crash dump and that is something to so with the memory sorry that i couldn't get any more information i don't have that laptop and all she knows is that something is not right

Suspends on RAM...

What OS and how many RAM?

Also try if it happens without the battery, power instability causes data corruption...

ill try and find out now

Don't all BSOD create a crash dump? Not very helpful >.<

i think so but like i said i would give more info but i dont have the laptop to hand
