Online gaming pc

Budget (including currency): $800~

Country: U.S.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: ARMA 3, SCUM, Hell let loose, ect

Other details

Hello. I have built pc's before, but that was back in 2004. I am way out of the loop on hardware/software.

I want to build a PC for the games mentioned above (and most likely some simulators), and I want the best items to run the games at Ultra, but I also don't want to pay for overkill on hardware. I.e.: I don't want the latest and greatest hardware if I don't need it. I want this build to be as cheap as possible. I AM STARTING FROM SCRATCH.

I want:

-any possibility of playing on a 65" tv??

-at LEAST 16GB ram

-SSD drives

-A MARBLE MOUSE (!)(is Logitech the only company that still makes these?)

-overclocking ability

-windows 10

-a monitor and hopefully @1440 resolution (or whatever the gold standard is nowadays)

-high cooling capabilat.

-sound card wifi/hardwired ethernet card

Looks do not matter.

I don't care if it's atx or micro atx.

Again, I do NOT need the newest stuff. Only the stuff that is juuuuuust good enough to run at max resolution @ at LEAST 60 fps.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

I will stop yelling now.

I'm Ron Burgundy?

Any reason for a sound card or ethernet card? Doesn't really make sense with how good integrated audio and ethernet is today.

I'll make a list in a second, just wanted to ask first. Unless you have a special audio setup that won't be driven by motherboard audio, or want 10GbE, there's no reason for either of those.

you're going to want at least an 8th get i7 / ryzen 3700 and a 2070 (or equiv) or better.

1440 is perfectly fine, but will need more GPU / CPU than 1080 would, obviously.

For current hardware:  An i5 11500 would work great, or a ryzen 5500.  GPU?  Good luck.

Everything else is easy

I could skip those then. As I said, I'm out of the loop. Will be playing with headphones.
