1080ti odd behavior

Well recently I've been fiddling with my oc as the card is now quite old and it's probably a bit degraded by now from runing on 2050mzh 1050v 6200mem for years as well as I've had some overheating problems such as the card reaching 80c wich usually is fine although in this case the oc is not stable at 80c as it was made for running on 65c wich the card bearly was hiting brand new. Anyway I've changed the paste and re made the oc now the new one is 1975mhz 1031 6000 and its runing fine ish at full load on hitman 3 at around 78c however on lighter games the odd thing is that its overheating and crashing like the card would be runing at 70% usage on 1v 1750mhz while playing jump force and crash as it reaches 88c and that's in just an hour while I've played hitman for 2 to 3hrs on full 99% usage at a more constable 78-80c. Am I missing something ?

 

 

Ps:I haven't touched the lower valtege stages they are stock the one I've changed are the 1025 and 1031 as well as max power and temp.

If you get rid of the overclock does the usage and temp behavior normalize?

Just tired it same thing. No change I mean the temps are bit lower that's all
