I have $3000 budget to spend at Best Buy only.

I am looking to buy a pre-build out of pure convenience and because I do not have PC building experience.

Their best system is their Corsair Vengeance valued at $2800. I included a screenshot of the build and link to the site below.

The reviews aren’t so hot and there are complaints about a forced shut down issue. Could this be fixed?
Is there anything else I should be wary about?
Is the build worth the price tag?

Please let me know! Thank you!

Spec wise the pc looks pretty solid in my opinion and I have had pretty great experiences with Corsair hardware. The shutdown issue usually means that there’s a problem with the motherboard needing a Bios update or even sometimes just needing a clean install of windows. If you know how to do these couple of easy fixes you might be alright with rolling the dice on it.

That’s all solid advice!

The budget I have is ONLY for Best Buy so i’m limited to what they have on shelves.

I have not looked into their pc parts but I can’t imagine they have much variety.
Which is why I think going pre-build at Best Buy is the best route.

The pc is definitely overkill since I really only plan to do light gaming (Minecraft, Apex Legends, Rocket League) and intense finance and CAD modeling.

I’ll try the clean Windows install and BIOS update if I do the purchase it though. Worst comes worst, i’ll slap on Geek Squad Warranty on it and return it if the issues persist.
