Discoloration at bottom of panel

m9x3mos

Hello everyone

I just found that my dell monitor developed this discoloration at the bottom of the panel. Curious if anyone has seen this before.

No. Never gotten wet and I live in a climate controlled apartment where it never really goes above 45% relative humidity.

I have 4 other monitors in the space and the rest are fine.

So this is apparently called mura. Can happen with age and when in warm conditions.

While my room is temp controlled to 75 f the bottom of the panel is warm while used.

I contacted Dell and they are sending a replacement. Luckily for me I am days within my 3 years warranty yet.
