On geforce experience my graphics card (ddr4 gt 1030) has the wrong optimal settings on geforce experience because it gives 25-35 fps but if my card was a gddr5 version it will be 55-60 fps if i searched the same optimal settings this means the geforce experience optimal settings only thinks theres only 1 type of gt 1030.Can a potato gamer with a gddr5 version say the optimal settings for like idk csgo.

the further down the stack of GPU's you go, the worse GFE's suggestions seem to get from my experience..

the thought that they somehow have ideal settings for each scenario is a ridiculous claim to start with, even with AI on their side (and on their management...).

my suggestion for stuff like CS:GO on a "lower end but still somewhat modern" GPU is to just max the game, turn off any form of anti aliasing and shadows, and see how far that gets you.

from my experience, the potato nvidia cards often dont struggle with at least an average texture quality, but REALLY tank down hard when you do anything core-intensive like AA or complex lighting. also from experience, nvidia geforce experience appears to do the exact opposite: cranking the visual flair, and having to give in on resolution and textures to make up for that.

Theyre just crap regardless. both GFE optimized settings and the DDR4 GT1030, the DDR4 standard is just not fast enough compared to even basic GDDR.

but you can deal with a crap GPU by doing sensible things with your settings.. which GFE doesnt.

i've spent way too long on a GT640, running games that had no place running on such a card at a smooth enough 60FPS, just by being clever with what i turn up or down.
