My new pc has a problem. When I finished building it and posted it on a tv, I played a game doing over 200 fps. So then I updated the system and correct drivers from intel, then plugged it up to a monitor and put it on my desk. Then I start to play the same game at the same graphics with still, one stick of ram, and get 150 fps. so then I thought that it was a power problem since it was connected to a extension cable. so i plugged it in the wall, nothing changed. Bought another stick of ram and does 130 fps. So what is happening. And that is not all, I play fortnite, taking 5 hours of my time to download, started playing it on creative, and guess what, it does 45 fps on low settings. like huh. I download CS:GO taking 2 hours to download, and on medium settings I get 50 fps. All these youtubers have a intel i7 4th gen with a rx 460 2gb and do 140 fps on fortnite medium settings, CS:GO 200 fps, that is insane I HAVE A i5 10600K with 16 gb of ram and do 45 fps on fortnite and can't even play CS:GO with 3 bots without doing 40 fps. Recording a video with obs, just a simple video of me playing roblox ,30 fps replaying the video. other people just have a gtx 1050 and do 4 times more fps then my pc with 6 years newer processer. My dad's laptop with intel i5-4500 does 60 fps and mine does 120. I was expecting way more from my new pc

So does a graphics card do that much.

It has a:

Intel i5 10600K

16 GB G.Skill F4 2666Mhz

AsRock B560M Pro4

EVGA 450W 80+ BRONZE

Some huge cooler from thermaltake

Using the igpu is a huge mistake if you want to have a good gaming experience.

First of all what resolution is your tv and your monitor? Your TV might as well be 720p and your monitor 1440p which will mean that you will get way more FPS on your TV than on your monitor.

Also , i dont really get one thing , are you playing iGPU ? Because you cant expect much performance from iGPU obviously. You need a dedicated GPU for a decent performance on any modern game.

GPU : RTX 3070 Gaming X TRIO | CPU : Ryzen 5 7600 \ COOLER : Deepcool AK620 | MOBO : ASUS TUF Gaming B650 Plus | RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 16GBx2 6200 MHz \ Storage : Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 1TB \ PSU : Corsair TX750M | CASE : Be Quite! Pure Base 500DX Black
