5600x

Go to solution Solved by Chiyawa,

Actually, most B550 and X570 motherboard can support Ryzen 5 5600X with a BIOS update. Many, like Gigabyte or Asus, allows you to update the BIOS without installing a CPU unto it, so, technically, almost, if not all, B550 motherboard and X570 motherboard supports 5600X or every Ryzen 5000 series CPU and APU. Please refer to the manual and the QVL or supported CPU or APU from the manufacturer's website as well as how to update the BIOS without CPU installed.

B550-F (I assume you are talking about Asus ROG Strix B550-F) is not bad, though it can be a bit pricey when compares to other in terms of features. Yet again, this probably comes down to what feature you are looking for and the aesthetic (or appeal) of the motherboard.

Yes, its a solid B550 board that is quite popular if you don't need on-board Wifi or an internal USB Type C header.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro

Was this part of the question that I missed?

To clarify on top of that, every X570 and B550 board support 5600x, they're the latest AMD boards and the 5600x is the latest generation AMD CPU, really isn't a question of "most".

No, I was actually just wondering if this would be a perfect motherboard for this CPU; but I appreciate the feedback!

Ah, I thought the author thought that because the box doesn't label Ryzen 5000 CPU ready, the motherboard doesn't support the CPU.

Yeah, I think there are a little bit of mix up in my side (sorry, because I tend to have 'collision of expressing my thought' from time to time due to my Autism, like when I meant to be B450 and X470 and instead I write B550 and X570). What I meant to say is that most B450 and X470 motherboard do support Ryzen 5000 series CPU. Yeah. I screw up a lot. Thanks for pointing that out. I thought the author meant B450 all the way. Ah, I should have double check what I'm writing.
