Debian OS

Hi Guys,

I am building a NAS and want to use OMV, because I have some experience with it. Additionally to doing NAS things, the PC should be able to play Netflix / Disney+ and (if possible) and run OpenVPN.

The PC is a Asrock J5040-itx, so a X86-Intel machine with 8Gb of RAM.

I am looking for an OS to run all this, possibly without VMs if not necessary.

 

I thought of a Debian-Distro since OMV is based on Debain and I have a bit of experience with Debian (Raspbian), but I am not married to it.

 

I have already looked into Linux Mint Debian Edition, but I am open for recommendations.

if you want to use OMV you should use debian itself
