12:49:21: Starting BattlEye Service... 12:49:22: Failed to initialize BattlEye Service: Driver Load Error (31).

 

That is the error code I'm getting when I try to load Destiny 2 on proton in Ubuntu. I restarted my PC, rolled back to older drivers, but I cant seem to fix it. Help!

Driver code 31 error in what is one question. Could be battle eye could be your Linux distro, could be something else.  All I can do is Google stuff. Tried “battleye 31 error” and found there seems to be a discussion on steam about this.  Might be useful, might not.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
