Hello, I have an issue wher my PC will freeze and drop frames when gaming/in general use. The FPS count doesn't dip but it looks like it's dropping frames. Sometimes it will repeat a frame. For example when when shooting in Overwatch if I have fired a shot it will animate the shooting twice and the character will skip instead of walking smoothly. I have run Restoro and couldn't see any issues, done DDU and a clean install of drivers. Temps all look good, below 60c max load. There is another issue where my keyboard will give conflicting info so if I press W when walking in game it will move my character backwards, I have been unable to recreate this issue when typing. Does anyone have any ideas, my sytem is:

Ryzen 5 3600 @stock speeds
Galax RTX 2070 Super (1-Click OC)
16GB GSkill Trident Z RGB Ram
Corsair 650W PSU
ASUS ROG B350i Strix Mobo

I have attached a picture of the GPU spike when I had frame drops

Task manager does not show your real GPU occupation. I think the spike is real but not the other parts of the graph.

I see 2 possibilities : (1) your GPU needed fresh data to continue its gaming computations and your CPU/RAM/HDD were to slow to send it to your GPU or (2) another program required your GPU for computations while you where gaming.

Edit : for point (1), that does not necessarily mean that your system is to slow. It can occur whit games which are not correctly made. A dev can forget to take in account a loading time.
