ive seen the daily ones and others that stay for a few days but never this many lol

It's kinda hard to tell when the sale will begin cause lots of developers have been putting their games on sale themselves. I assume the sale will start within the next week or 2

What do you mean? The weeklong deals have been going on for about 8 months now. They start every Monday. In the past two big sales (summer and winter), the week they were about to start there were no weeklong deals.
