So i was able to oc 5.1ghz all core at 1.315 volts but i downed it to 5ghz all core with 1.275 volts because my deepcool assassin 3 seemed just barely handling it i play games like star citizen and mfs 2020 and im seeing spikes up to 79 and stuff and i just seem its worth it to make my room an oven just for 100mhz but most games dont use all cores so i tried 5.1 on the first 2 cores and 5 on the rest but with that i look into hw monitor and saying all cores are at 5ghz idk why but its not that big of a deal but i just want to squeeze as much fps as i can

First 2 cores at 5.1GHz means when only 2 cores are being used, the CPU will operate at 5.1GHz. if all of the cores are engaged, the CPU will operate at 5.0GHz.

This is a graduated overclock, which I really recommend. Tweak your system more set the 1 and 2 core OC to something like 5.4, the 3 and 4 core speed to 5.3, etc. If your 7 core speed is 5.1GHz and your 8 core speed is 5.0GHz, you'll probably see your clock speed go between those values often when gaming.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

This, I have mine set to be between 5.1-5.3ghz depending on active cores.

I have a relatively high fixed vcore, but that's only so single core is stable. Under heavier load it vdroops down to 1.28

i5-14600KF // 120x38MM Cooler Master AIO // B760i // 64GB DDR5 6000 // PNY RTX 5070 // Cooler Master NCORE 100 Max // Cooler Master V SFX-850 Gold // UWQHD AOC Display

weird for me every game uses 8 cores even like opening things on desktop like chrome either goes back 5 or something lower cuz it only goes up to speed when on load so yh idk
