I need help trying to figure out my issue.  I just upgraded the CPU in one of my PCs to a i7-9700k and I can't keep it cool under load.  I don't game, but I'm using it for video conversion.  When I'm converting videos the CPU runs 100% of course, runs stock boost speed of 4.5ghz, but averages nearly 85-90 degrees, even hits 95-100 occasionally.  I've tried 2 different coolers and fan setups.

First setup:  Meshify C case, top mounted DeepCool Captain Pro 240 w/ Noctua Chromax fans (1500RPM), In-win intake and exhaust fans.

Second setup:  Meshify C case, front mounted CoolMaster MasterLiquid Pro 280 w/ BeQuiet fand (1600RPM), Noctua Chromax fans for exhaust.

No temp differences.  The part I don't understand is my i7-67600k comes no where near these temps.  Now I know the 9700k is a slightly higher TDP, and 300mhz higher clock speed (I never overclock either), and 2 more actual core however no extra threads, but I had the CoolerMaster AIO on that one before and no matter what I did never got above 70 degrees.  And now it's in a BeQuiet case with not grate airflow from the front, with a CoolerMaster MasterLiquid Maker 92 AIO and doing the exact same video conversion with the same program for 12 hours straight it averages 75 degrees and is near silent.

What in the world would cause the 9700k to be so much hotter?

Make sure the pump is connected to power.

It is, running 100% speed.  While idle or just  normal activity temps are okay (not as good as the 6700k).  I just don't know if the extremely high temps under load are normal for a 9700k?
