here’s a part list, I’m using a 1060 until I can get my hands on any 30 series card. I’m looking to keep it cordless around $2000 and I can downgrade the motherboard, just wanna keep it nice.

Are you just gaming, or also planning on some productivity-style workload.

If only gaming then the CPU and motherboard are incredibly overkill. Motherboard is overkill regardless IMO.

Downgrade the motherboard, put some of that money into a better SSD. Also a note on the case, make sure you have space on your desk (or whatever surface you're putting it on) for a cube case, they are surprisingly wide.

I brought the motherboard down to the b550 gaming edge wifi motherboard. I know it's not ASUS, but ASUS has issues with their b550 line (mainly the ethernet bit, but still). Went for 3TB SSD storage here too. Hope it helps!

(I take it you're moving the pre-installed fans to the top and back of the case, yes?)

Okay I’ll do that, I have measured for the case, thanks for the tip.
