A couple days ago i put a fresh copy of windows 7 on the family computer and it wont connect the internet with ethernet cable i was told to look up the motherboard and download the driver im pretty sure its the hp alvorix rs880 i have looked online but cant find a driver for this

For a prebuilt system, you would get the drivers from the hp support website not related to the motherboard. If you were building a system and needed network drivers you would then need to look up the motherboard and get related drivers.
