What USB one do you recomend???

I used an asus branded one, just because they are more a reliable brand. I can't remember which specific one I used but any one with a well known name should be fine.

Can you not use powerline? when you plug an ethenet into your power socket and use your wires as essentially an ethenet

Don't get anything tp-link if you have a higher end router. They just don't work well together. I owned one and eventually got fed up with it constantly not being able to connect and not even showing a signal that I ran a wired connection. I done some research and it is a wide spread issue with tp-link cards. I highly advise against buying one.

So what should I get?

Oh and I really don't run a high end router!

Are they as fast?

A usb wireless adapter is your best bet. I bought one two days after I built my computr and put my tplink card in. That's how bad it is. It will be just as fast as your connection is and more reliable. I couldn't find any decent pci wireless adapters online to replace my tplink one. I just took it out and threw it in the box it came in, now it sits in my closet.

If you like the idea of wired, then i also highly recommend powerline.
It will give you a much more stable and consistent connection compared to wireless, not to mention how much faster it is in practice.

Lan... Lan... Lan... I'm the ghost of the wired connection... BUUUUU.

It depends, sometimes you dont need it at all, like me. My router is in the room next to me, i get full bars 100% of the time and my pig is 3ms worse than on lan, which is completly fine at 23ms ping. If your router is near you, it doesnt matter, any network will do. If you're far away, just get powerline if you can.
