I have a Triple monitor set up where the left monitor is portrait, the centre monitor is landscape and the right monitor is portrait (flipped) I did this to minimise the Bessel amount as the bottoms are facing away and all the resolutions are all the same vertically, the centre monitor is different from the others and I would love to surround them all but Nvidia surround settings only lets you change all of them to portrait or landscape... and not individually?

thank you!

monitors

left and right - Philips 17S

centre - Viewsonic VX2739

GPU - wind force GTX 970

Surround creates a single "virtual" display out of multiple physical monitors. This virtual display has to be a rectangle, which is why you can't have the ends portrait and the center one landscape. Doing so would give you an H-shaped display, which isn't a valid screen shape.

Thank you for your reply but

that's the thing its not an H shaped display because they are different sized displays they should be able to make one rectangular virtual display. bellow i have attached a photo of my displays in settings to show that they don't create an H but a rectangle

My bad, misunderstood your setup a bit.

Regardless, it seems Surround forces you to use monitors of the same resolution. AMD appears to support mixed resolutions, but not Nvidia. I'm not aware of a workaround besides running a game/application in windowed mode and manually stretching it across the screens. Obviously not ideal...
