Greetings,

does anyone have any experience with Aorus AIOs? I have built my all-Aorus pc this winter, and the only issue I've had is the AIO making this buzzing sound (audio attached).
This noise is NOT:
Coming from the fans, but from the pump block itself.
Affected by pump speed. When I set different pump speeds, it doesn't make the sound go away. Strangely, it is tied tho to the pc load, it only happens when pc is NOT under load, when playing games, this sound goes away. (Yeh, no idea how that affects the pump, besides its speed, which doesn't seem to be the cause...)
Sound of bubbles. I hope that is obvious from the attached file, bubbles certainly don't make this vibrating sound.
Constant. You can hear in the audio file that it comes and goes approx each 45 seconds.
Affecting CPU temperature. Idle 34-45 degrees Celsius, 60-70 gaming, 80 running two games simultaneously. CPU: Intel i9-9900k, not overclocked. Does not spike when the sound is present.

I tried to RMA it, to no success, but was able to get my money back in the end. Purchased another of the same model (Aorus AIO 240) and it too was buzzing like this from day one. Returned, bought the third, same problem. Does anyone know, what this might be caused by? I would really like to have it in my pc, but this sound is driving me insane.

Thanks,
George

well you bought 3 of the same aios and they all have the same problem. its obviously a manufacturing problem or thats just how it is. id say just ignore it or if it really is annoying you get something else. i suggest nzxt im using the x63 and i never hear the sound of the fans or the pump under full load

What case do you have and how is the cooler mounted? Have you given it time for the bubbles to rise to the top of the loop?

I have Corsair 500D, cooler 240 mounted to the top of the case. It's been doing this sound since PC was completed in january, without worsening or improving. I still don't think it's bubbles, as from my understanding of AIOs, it simply doesn't make sense for them to travel around the loop only when NOT under heavy load.
Since I really like my Aorus build, I would be willing to pay for a repair outside the warranty (which is basically useless if this issue wasn't regarded) but I really want to know what's causing it first.

What you're describing seems like coil whine which would likely be from the psu or graphics card.

Does the sound go away when stressing just the cpu with a synthetic load? I personally use OCCT.

No, I am sure it is coming from the AIO block. The sound indeed goes away when stressing CPU only. The GPU does have a bit of a coil whine, but that's not this sound, it's much deeper. (Please listen to the attached audio above with full volume, first few seconds are GPU coil whine and then the block starts to go vrrrrrr)
