Hello guys!

I have my PC for a few months and since the past week I've been having this bit anoying problem that my PC won't boot in a cold start.

So for example, I game on the night before until 10pm, turn off my PC and turn it on the next morning.

It will turn on the power switch LED, the memories RGB and all the fans on.

However, the screen will stay black and the mouse and keyboard LEDs will stay off. After some 30s, the screen will turn on but stay "black" (the backlight on, but nothing showing up) and the keyboard and mouse LED's will turn on.

I've waited for 20 min at a time and nothing showed on screen.

After turning off the PC using the case switch and turning it back on again everything will work as expected, and in less then 15s I'll be in Windows 10.

My config is as follows:

  • Windows 10 64 Bits
  • Intel Core i5 10600k
  • MOBO Asus ROG Strix z490-g Gaming (non-wifi) (BIOS was 0805 now is 2301)
  • 2x XPG D41 8gb 3200mhz
  • Super Flower PSU 650w Leadex III
  • Used GTX 1060 3GB from aliexpress
  • Corsair 275R Airflow Case (tho I doubt the case will be the problem)

What I've already tried:

  • Switching off fast startup
  • Updating BIOS
  • Turning on the PC without any USB device
  • Removing the CMOS battery
  • Switching the RAM sockets (I'm currently using 2 and 4, I believe)

What do you guys think it could be?

I've seen some similar threads and people talked about faulty PSU, but I'm hoping it's not, since it's pretty new and a recommended model.

One thing tho, could the sequence of cables in the PSU influence it? I saw that there are two 8 pin CPU outputs in the PSU, and I'm using both of them (8 in the main connection and 4 on the secondary) in the mobo, could changing the order of cables make it work?

Thanks!

Your motherboard has debug LEDs, when it doesnt boot, which one is lit up?
