It records in 2 channel. Each channel has a dedicated pre-amp and AD converter. It's essentially dual mono.

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

You aware of any spectrum analysers which can use both channels so I can see both channels audio frequncy response.

I would maybe shoot IK Multimedia an email and see if they could provide the frequency response of the product to you, as they should have it.
