The 11400f is a faster overall CPU afaik. If it's also cheaper that's a no-brainer imo.

Thanks! So used to recommending AMD in the higher ends I was ultra-confused haha. Also is the 11500 a good upgrade if it is STILL lesser than the R5?

I looked at some benchmarks and it's:
11400 < 3600 < 11500
The 11400 seems to have a better single thread performance because of it's higher clock frequency, but I guess AMD is better at multi threading.

My build:

Thank you! I don't really use multi-threading much. So I will go for the 11400!

The 11500 seems like the same CPU with 200Mhz more clock speed. I wouldn't expect a significant upgrade over the 11400.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
