I have a question, for compiling code what does it benefit from single core performance, multi-core, or multi-threads. And yea I know basically any cpu is good enough for it but what does it really like, basically which type of cpus will "deliver maximum performance while compiling an application"

sorry if this is a dumb question :P

so something like a threadripper will be better than most intel cpus?
