Hi, today I finished building my first pc, however when I wanted to join my friends party on the Xbox app it said I couldn't connect. I found out that this was due to a problem with teredo. When I tried to find it in device manager I couldn't, so I went through the Microsoft forums. However none of the things that were listed helped at all. So if you know what's wrong please reply I have been trying to figure out the issue for 3-4 hours now.

Just incase this matters I am running a:

Ryzen 7 5800x

Nvidia 3060 Zotac OC edition

ROG STRIX B550-f Gaming

with 16gb 3600mhz ram.

You want to play against Xbox players with THAT?!  You’ll crush them.  So bad microsoft doesn’t even ALLOW a lot of PCs and consoles to interact in a lot of games.  Particularly PvP shooters.  A mouse/keyboard just has that big an advantage in those games.  There are some games where it is allowed, but trying to sneak a PC into xbox/PS land has been a holy grail for some players of some games for some time.there is  years of arms race in that one.

Which game will matter a lot.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

The games aren't the problem its the fact that I do not have the teredo drive anywhere on my pc. However I have fixed that issue, by following a microsoft forum. But now I cannot get into a party with my friends it just says "Something went wrong with your party. Try again later."

I am given to understand Toredo is a sort of ad hoc ipv4 to ipv6 translator that uses relays from actual ipv6 connections.  You could have a problem that way.  There is another called 6to4 which may work better for your use.  It’s functionality is slightly different. Might be worse. I dunno.  It’s not impossible you’re running into “just nope” from microsoft though.
