Aw2721d vs xb273ugx

What monitor would you all recommend between the AW2721D and the XB273UGX? I’ve seen a lot of people on both sides but a bit more on the side of the acer. Here in Sweden the acer is $50 less than the dell. Is the 8 bit a big difference than the 10 bit on the acer and the gsync ultimate module vs the the gsync compatible. Will I also notice the better hz and input lag on the acer? I’ll be doing all sorts off gaming but mostly fps games, I’ll also do a lot of media and a bit of productivity and I don’t care about the hdr. I do care about the design but not too much. I’ve also read there’s a fan on the dell to cool the gsync module but is it noticeable?

the dell is a wide gamut hdr600 monitor, both monitors are 8bit+frc, the acer is a srgb monitor with better response time, while the dell has better colors so it depends on what you need, would not use the acer for productivity, the price of the monitors shouldn't be close, the dell should be worth hundreds more.

How do you get 8 bit + FTC on the dell people have been saying it only works with 144hz and ofc I want to use all the 240hz and actually in Sweden the acer is worth $150 more but it’s a sale right now making it cheaper than the dell. If I understand the dell would be more of what im looking for based on my load?

it should work with displayport. the aw2721d really is a cutting edge monitor, it's the only ips 240hz monitor thats wide gamut, the weakness is the black levels, no monitor is perfect

 

 on paper the acer is "faster" but the dell's colors will look better.

 

no comment on the fan since i don't personally own one, but i've seen the dell in person, not the acer.

frc is automatic, both monitors are 8bit+frc
