LG 32GK650F; colors different than on other calibrated monitors; after switching from 10-bit to 8-bit the colors look the same; should I use 8bit?

I have an LG 32GK650F and I use a ColorMunki iDisplay for calibration with DisplayCal.

 

A few weeks ago a friend of mine purchased the 32GK650F and I visited him yesterday, we calibrated his monitors. He uses the LG as the main with two Dell 23" IPS (P19something), one on each side in Portrait. After the calibration (using the Hardware Unboxed recommended settings in DisplayCal) we noticed the colors on those two not matching the colors of the LG 32GK650F. I found the solution; switching from 10-bit to 8-bit in the AMD Radeon Software display/color settings.

 

My question is; should the LG 32GK650F, after calibration, be used in the 8-bit mode? Should I set mine to 8-bit too? As far as I know it's an 8-bit panel with FRC...

Realistically 8bit or 10bit won't make any difference for non-HDR desktop use. But if you have the option, you can use 10it without any downsides.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
